Dr. Herbert Hooi
Cosmetic MD
Dr. Herbert Hooi graduated with an MBBS from the University of Sydney in 1987 and became a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) in 1999. With over 20 years of experience in aesthetic procedures, he has focused extensively on chemical peels and regenerative techniques. In 2008, he founded his first private cosmetic clinic in Bowral and has since served as the principal medical provider at several leading clinics in Sydney.
In recognition of his significant contributions to cosmetic medicine, he was awarded the Foundation Fellowship of the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (FACAM) in 2009. As a clinical trainer for Galderma and the InMode RFAL platform, she applies advanced facial refining techniques with precision.
Dr. Lim is also a certified trainer and experienced practitioner in PDO thread lifts, proficient in both monofilament and lifting threads. A consultant for Candela Medical ANZ and one of the earliest adopters of the Picoway laser in the region, she combines a deep passion for dermal science with a commitment to evidence-based skincare. Her approach to anti-aging is rooted in active ingredient research and cutting-edge technology, and she strongly advocates a holistic, collaborative method in aesthetic treatments—fully aligned with Shape Clinic’s philosophy of natural, individualized beauty.

How MINT Training Works
Each training session requires a minimum of 2- 4 participants.

We Group You Locally
Based on your location, we’ll place you in a training group with 1–3 other nearby participants and pair you with a certified MINT trainer.

Attend Pre-Training Theory Session
Once the training is confirmed, we’ll arrange a group video call to review the theory component.
This session typically lasts 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the training package.

Join the Hands-On Training Day
In the scheduled training day, you’ll dive straight into the hands-on session, where 2 patients will be shared among the attendees. This practical session runs for approximately 3 to 4 hours.
